Create slow motion videos with SloPro

Think about all the fun videos you could make if your iPhone could record slow motion videos. Now it can! SloPro is a free iPhone app that lets you record videos at 60fps on your iPhone 4S.

If you’re expecting jerky, pixelated slow motion then you will be pleasantly surprised with SloPro. The slow motion videos recorded with this app are buttery smooth.

60fps is twice the normal recording rate so your videos are half as fast in this mode but can be slowed down even further after recording. Only the 4S can achieve this frame rate. The previous iPhones can still record slow motion videos with SloPro but they just won’t look quite as good.

When you open an the app up for the first time it goes right into the viewfinder so you can record right away. Once you’ve recorded a slow motion video you can edit it by changing the speed, changing which part is in slow motion and more.

The free version of the app lets you share the video on Facebook or Youtube. If you want to save the video to your camera roll, remove the watermark or send the video as an email you would need to upgrade to the pro version of the app.

You can look back at your slow motion videos when you have some spare time or you could even use the new “feed” feature where you can see videos made by other people.
