Disk Drill is a powerful data recovery software designed exclusively for Mac. Disk Drill can monitor your ATA, SATA and eSATA disks for hardware failures by polling S.M.A.R.T. status of available hard drives.

Save your data by creating a Disk Image (DMG) of any failing disk or partition for further data recovery, so you no longer need the original media. Later on you can mount this Disk Image in your Mac, or using Disk Drill, and recover data from it.

LIMITATIONS

• Disk Drill Media Recovery is not able to recover data from the main hard drive (system disk) of your Mac due the need of a specific level of access which cannot be provided without your admin password
• Disk Drill Media Recovery cannot recover data from any iOS device like iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad
• There’s no guarantee that anything can be recovered 100% correctly. Keep in mind, if your lost data is overwritten by other items, it’s gone for good, and there’s NO WAY to recover it.
