New unlock works for all iPhones and all firmwares

A new unlock for all iPhones has been discovered by Loktar_Sun. This SAM based unlock method works for all iPhone models, regardless of baseband and iOS version.

This is great news for Baseband 04.11.08 and 4.12.1 and 01.59 or 06.15  users who have been looking for an unlock solution.

Loktar Sun’s  method makes use of Sam Bingner‘s SAM (Subscriber Artificial Module) package, and basically tricks the Apple registration servers by creating a new activation ticket.
The unlock is permanent ( the activation ticket will be valid for 3 years) which theoretically means that you will be able to update your iPhone to future iOS versions without losing the unlock.

To perform the unlock you will need to jailbreak your iPhone, and you need to know to which provider the iPhone is originally locked to.
